Job summary

The Greater Philadelphia YMCA is seeking a Kid Zone Team Member to help create a safe, fun space for children during weekday evenings and weekend hours. You will engage with kids, support team members, and contribute to a welcoming member experience.

Ideal candidates are 15 or older, comfortable in child care, eager to live the YMCA mission, and able to perform basic first aid/CPR/AED with training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in child care or supervised play environments.
• Willingness to embody the YMCA mission and values.
• Ability to perform basic first aid/CPR/AED with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a fun, safe, and clean environment for children.
• Engage with children to enhance their experience.

What is needed for this job as our Kid Zone Team Member:

• Age 15+
• Have experience and comfort working in child care - does not have to be professional
• Have a willingness and desire to live out the mission of the Y
• Are able to perform life saving skills in First Aid/CPR/AED/Emergency Oxygen (training provided)
