YMCA of the Triangle is seeking a Kid Zone Care Attendant to supervise and engage children in our childcare programs. You will support a quality experience for children and parents, aligning with the YMCA core values of honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring.

Shifts include 8:45 a.m.–1:00 p.m. and 4:45 p.m.–8:00 p.m., seven days a week. The role emphasizes safety, positive role modeling, and collaboration with staff and families.

Qualificações

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Previous child care experience preferred.
• Must be professional, courteous and friendly.
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
• Multilingual desired but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises a group of children while leading and participating in program activities.
• Models positive relationship-building with children and parents.
• Maintains clear, regular communication within area of responsibility.
• Maintains group control and handles situations with a positive attitude.
• Ensures safety and cleanliness of the program environment.
• Attends staff meetings and trainings; follows YMCA policies and procedures.
