Job summary

Crunch Fitness - Blaine and Maple Grove is seeking a dedicated Child Care Attendant to support members and their children in a safe, friendly environment.

You will provide supervision, register and check-out children, initiate games and crafts, and ensure cleanliness and safety in the play area. Weekday AM availability is required; CPR certification is mandatory as per state guidelines.

Qualifications

• Maintain valid Child/Infant CPR as required by local laws.
• Weekday AM availability is required.
• Experience working with children.
• Certifications as local/state laws require.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly atmosphere for members and children.
• Provide proper registration and check-out of children & parents.
• Watch and care for children to ensure safety.
• Initiate games, arts & crafts projects with children.
• Bottle-feed babies or assist with eating needs per parental direction.
• Keep children calm and safe.
• Clean and sanitize child care toys.
• Keep working area free of sharp or harmful objects; answer childcare phone.
• Communicate information regarding children to parents/guardians; provide toy/educational tool recommendations.
• Follow all policies and procedures; assist in club projects as delegated by management.

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

• Above position may report to the Assistant Manager or Assistant General Manager where applicable

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift 10 lbs on occasion
• Needs to be able to stand, bend and squat with frequency
