Job summary

Harnish Auto Family in the Pacific Northwest is seeking a dependable Lot Attendant to keep our dealership grounds and vehicle inventory organized and ready for customers. This hands-on role involves moving vehicles, cleaning and detailing as needed, and supporting sales and service teams.

You will inspect vehicles for cleanliness and damage, tag keys, and help maintain vehicle appearance and lot safety while working outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles, including different transmissions.
• Dependable, punctual, and reliable in attendance.
• Strong attention to detail in vehicle appearance and inventory.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Physically active and able to stand for long periods.
• Dealership or automotive experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Harnish Auto Family is looking for a dependable, hardworking Lot Attendant to join our team!

Our Lot Attendants play an important role in keeping the dealership running smoothly. This is a hands‑on position for someone who enjoys staying active, working around vehicles, and being part of a team.

What You’ll Do

• Move vehicles throughout the dealership lot, service drive, and other designated areas
• Keep vehicle lots organized, clean, and presentable
• Maintain the appearance of new and used vehicle inventory
• Assist with washing and preparing vehicles as needed
• Inspect vehicles for cleanliness or visible damage and communicate concerns
• Create and maintain vehicle key tags and assist with inventory organization
• Help keep work areas, parking areas, and dealership grounds clean and free of debris
• Assist the Sales and Service teams with moving or retrieving vehicles
• Follow dealership procedures when operating customer and company vehicles
• Perform other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles, including automatic and manual transmission when required
• Dependable and punctual

• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Able to be on your feet and physically active throughout the workday
• Previous dealership or automotive experience is a plus, but not required
