Job summary

Harnish Auto Family is seeking a dependable Lot Attendant to join our Pacific Northwest team. This hands-on role keeps the dealership running by moving vehicles, maintaining tidy lots, and preparing cars for customers and service teams.

Ideal candidates are punctual, detail‑oriented, and able to work outdoors in varying weather. No prior dealership experience required, but automotive exposure is a plus. We offer a stable, family‑owned environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely operate a range of vehicles (auto and manual when required).
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Move vehicles around the lot, service drive, and designated areas.
• Keep lots organized, clean, and presentable.
• Maintain appearance of new and used inventory.
• Assist with washing and preparing vehicles as needed.
• Inspect vehicles for cleanliness or damage and report concerns.

Job description

Harnish Auto Family is looking for a dependable, hardworking Lot Attendant to join our team!

Our Lot Attendants play an important role in keeping the dealership running smoothly. This is a hands‑on position for someone who enjoys staying active, working around vehicles, and being part of a team.

What You’ll Do

• Move vehicles throughout the dealership lot, service drive, and other designated areas
• Keep vehicle lots organized, clean, and presentable
• Maintain the appearance of new and used vehicle inventory
• Assist with washing and preparing vehicles as needed
• Inspect vehicles for cleanliness or visible damage and communicate concerns
• Create and maintain vehicle key tags and assist with inventory organization
• Help keep work areas, parking areas, and dealership grounds clean and free of debris
• Assist the Sales and Service teams with moving or retrieving vehicles
• Follow dealership procedures when operating customer and company vehicles
• Perform other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles, including automatic and manual transmission when required
• Dependable and punctual
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Able to be on your feet and physically active throughout the workday
• Previous dealership or automotive experience is a plus, but not required
