Job Description INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN
Job Purpose
The Installation Technician is responsible for the successful installation of equipment in an efficient and consistent manner, working with a team to achieve timely project completion.

Technical Expertise
- Install operating room lights, equipment booms, cabinetry, and other structures.
- Pull, install, and cable (CAT 5/6), medical gas lines, and other cabling.
- Provide reports for clients, validating test results and work performed.
- Learn client-specific systems for full integration and growth.
- Install and mount video monitors.
- Proficient in cable management.
- Basic general contracting skills.
Knowledge and Abilities
- Ability to travel overnight 80% or more.
- Knowledge of electrical and low voltage systems.
- Ability to read plans and follow the scope of work, installing equipment to specifications.
- Assess changes in scope and request change orders appropriately.
- Use tools such as levels, wrenches, reciprocating saws, and hammer drills for installation.
- Work a standard week but may require evenings and weekends nationwide.
- Work in crouched, kneeling, or confined spaces.
- Certifications like OSHA 10 preferred.
- Ability to lift 70+ pounds.

Compensation
- $18 - $23 per hour, based on experience.
