Job Purpose

As a KHI Construction Foreman, you will be the face of the company, coordinating workers, subcontractors, material deliveries, and on-site activities to ensure projects stay on schedule. You will lead small teams on tasks like equipment installation and operating room renovations, requiring effective planning, communication, and execution. Additionally, you will manage client relationships and handle administrative tasks to foster trust and repeat business.

Our foremen must be construction experts, capable of leading teams of medical equipment technicians, network specialists, and subcontractors. They should promote quality, accountability, teamwork, and achievement. Key qualities include:

• Experience in the construction industry
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings
• Understanding of building codes (electrical, fire suppression, medical gas, etc.)
• Pre-event planning for efficiency
• Clear communication with team and clients
• Managing changes per project priorities
• Providing regular updates to clients
• Debriefing with teams and clients for continuous improvement

Qualifications

Education

• High School diploma required; college degree preferred

Skills and Abilities

• At least three years in a leadership role
• Willingness to travel extensively (80% or more)
• Experience with installation work and hand/power tools
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, low-voltage systems
• Ability to interpret plans and scope of work
• Experience requesting change orders
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
• Ability to work in confined spaces and lift up to 70 pounds

Computer Skills

• Proficiency with Google Drive, Calendar, Word, Excel, email, and internet

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 depending on experience
