Bonus Program: As a Restaurant General Manager, you are eligible to participate in a bonus program, paid out periodically based on restaurant performance.

A Day in the Life of a Restaurant General Manager
  • Control profitability by managing cash procedures, property inventory, labor, financial reports, and taking appropriate actions.
  • Recruit, interview, and hire team members, shift managers, and assistant GMs.
  • Coach and train employees to ensure operational excellence.
  • Complete inventory counts biweekly.
  • Maintain restaurant cleanliness and ensure a friendly, high-quality guest experience.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a General Manager in food service or retail, with P&L responsibility, preferably in QSR.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Availability to close the restaurant at least two nights a week.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull heavy objects, stand and walk constantly, and operate restaurant equipment safely.

Compensation varies based on skills, experience, and location. Starting ranges include:

  • Maryland: $53,000 - $58,000
  • New York: $55,000 - $60,000
  • New York City: $65,000 - $70,000
  • Cincinnati, OH: $54,000 - $58,000
