A Day in the Life of a Restaurant General Manager

• Control profitability by managing cash, inventory, labor, and financial reports.
• Recruit, interview, and hire staff including Team Members, Shift Managers, and Assistant GMs.
• Coach and train employees to ensure operational excellence.
• Conduct bi-weekly inventory counts.
• Maintain cleanliness and provide an exceptional guest experience with friendly service and quality products.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as General Manager in food service or retail, with Profit & Loss responsibility, preferably in QSR.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to close the restaurant at least two nights a week.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull heavy objects, stand, walk, and operate restaurant equipment safely.

• Maryland: $53,000 - $58,000
• New York: $55,000 - $60,000
• New York City: $65,000 - $70,000
• Cincinnati, OH: $54,000 - $58,000
