Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Akron seeks a friendly Keyholder/Shift Supervisor to manage daily operations, assist customers, and support store goals. You’ll oversee cash register activity, POS procedures, opening/closing, and daily cash deposits, ensuring accuracy and security.

You will sort donations, prepare items for resale, supervise service participants, promote safety, and maintain clean, hazard-free work areas while upholding our mission to serve the community.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs.
• Experience supervising customer service in retail or food service is desirable.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register and point of sale system.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, and make nightly cash deposits as needed.
• Complete reports such as donation counts, readings, daily business statements, deposits, and cash drawer balances.
