Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Akron, OH is seeking a Keyholder/Shift Supervisor to manage daily store operations, cash handling, and assist with community-focused mission work. This role supports service participants and ensures safe, efficient retail floor activities within a busy Goodwill environment.

You will operate POS systems, help with opening/closing, and contribute to reporting and loss prevention while promoting teamwork and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs.
• Operate cash register, stock duties and provide customer service.
• Preferred: valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register and POS system accurately and efficiently, including opening and closing procedures.
• Complete reports such as donation counts, daily statements, deposits and cash drawer balances.
• Inspect textiles and goods, sort, hang, tag, price and prepare items for resale while promoting participant development.
