Job summary

Clothes Mentor is hiring a Key Holder in Peoria, IL to lead a passionate team in women's fashion resale. You will manage daily store operations, ensure a high standard of visual merchandising, and deliver outstanding customer experiences in a fast-paced environment.

The role focuses on coaching sales associates, meeting sales and inventory targets, and collaborating with the store manager on promotions. A strong background in retail management and fashion is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of retail management experience.
• Strong leadership and customer service skills required.
• Ability to work flexible hours and basic digital/ POS literacy.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily store operations and visual merchandising.
• Lead and develop sales associates to hit sales and inventory targets.
• Provide excellent customer service and build client relationships.
• Train staff on product knowledge, buying and selling techniques.
• Analyze operations to identify trends and improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies.
• Oversee inventory management and replenishment processes.
• Collaborate with the store manager on promotions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily store operations and maintaining a high standard of visual merchandising.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of sales associates to achieve sales and inventory targets.
• Provide excellent customer service and build lasting relationships with clients.
• Conduct staff training on product knowledge, inventory acquisition (buying) and sales techniques.
• Analyze operations to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Oversee inventory management and replenishment processes.
• Collaborate with the store manager to implement promotional strategies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of retail management experience, preferably in women's fashion.
• Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to inspire and direct a team.
• Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for fashion.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in retail management software and point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and some holidays.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in fashion merchandising is a plus.
