Job summary

Biogen in the United States is seeking a senior KME and Key Account lead to develop and execute engagement plans with the Regional Sales Director to advance the Biogen MS portfolio at division/account level.

You will drive a ONE BIOGEN approach, identify opportunities, and collaborate with marketing, managed care, and patient services to improve access and quality of care. You will regularly interact with KMEs, prescribers, and administrators to align account needs with strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• BS/BA required; MBA preferred.
• Minimum long-term track record of adherence to Corporate Compliance Policies.
• Valid driver’s license (driving is essential).

• Develop and execute Key Medical Expert (KME) and Key Account engagement plans with the Regional Sales Director to ensure long-term success of the Biogen MS portfolio at the division/account level.
• Facilitate a “ONE BIOGEN” strategic engagement approach for key accounts; identify opportunities and trends that improve patient access to care and quality of care.
• Conduct regular interactions with top KMEs, prescribers, and administrators to understand account needs and identify partnership opportunities.
• Routinely collaborate with local sales teams and cross-functional partners (including marketing, managed care, and patient services) to increase engagement and Biogen trust/value.

Required Qualifications:

• BS/BA required; MBA preferred.
• Minimum long-term track record of adherence to Corporate Compliance Policies.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• 7+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience; ideally 2+ years MS disease state or related chronic disease.
• Account management experience in complex accounts; prior management and/or cross-functional experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement (patient/provider), managed care (regional/national), patient privacy laws (HIPAA), and compliance with OIG/regulatory requirements.
• Strong presentation, organizational, and communication skills; ability to work in ambiguous/complex environments; strong problem-solving.
