Homesense, part of The TJX Companies, Inc., is seeking a Key Carrier in Columbus, OH for a role that blends Coordinator duties with leadership. Open availability, including nights and weekends, is required, and you will model exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will support store operations, coach Associates, manage coverage, and ensure procedures are followed to maintain a strong store experience for customers.

Qualifications

• 1 year in retail and 6 months leadership experience.
• Able to work nights and weekends.
• Knowledge of store software, systems, and procedures.
• Knowledge of merchandise flow in stores.
• Proven problem solving skills.
• Able to coach, delegate, and follow-up on multiple people/tasks.
• Able to act quickly under challenging circumstances.
• Superior communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience.
• Acts as Manager on Duty adhering to company policy and procedure.
• Ensures store team performs tasks and activities in accordance with store plan; prioritizes as needed.
• Coaches Associates and provides feedback and development opportunities.
• Manages associate coverage to maintain a positive customer experience.
• Ensures adherence to all labor laws and company procedures.
• Supports shrink reduction goals and programs.
• Promotes safety and a welcoming store environment.
