Job summary

SACHEM is seeking a senior sales professional to identify opportunities and build strategic relationships in the semiconductor ecosystem across the Eastern United States. You will promote a portfolio of specialty chemicals, systems, and OEM service solutions, advancing new and existing customer accounts.

You will leverage your deep industry knowledge and technical sales skills to understand customer process requirements, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and manage the full sales cycle

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, engineering, business or marketing related field from an accredited institution. Advanced degree is a plus.
  • 10-15 years of relevant industry experience, preferably 5 years in technical sales.
  • Established professional sales experience in the semiconductor, IC, or related advanced manufacturing industry.
  • Demonstrated success selling technical products, chemicals, equipment, systems, or services to semiconductor/IC customers.
  • Existing relationships and credibility within the semiconductor industry are strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to develop new business as well as grow existing strategic accounts.
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand and communicate complex products and processes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively with technical and commercial teams.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the Eastern United States.
  • Residence in Texas, preferably in the Austin or DFW area.

Responsibilities

  • Lead sales and business-development activities throughout the Eastern half of the United States.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with semiconductor manufacturers, IC manufacturers, fabs, process engineers, procurement organizations, and other key industry stakeholders.
  • Promote and grow adoption of the company's portfolio, including identifying prospective customers and applications.
  • Develop new accounts while expanding relationships and sales within existing customers.
  • Understand customer process requirements and work closely with technical and operations teams to develop appropriate solutions.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through technical evaluation, proposal, negotiation, and closing.
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasts and market intelligence.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, customer meetings, and other relevant events.
  • Monitor semiconductor industry trends, technology developments, competitive activity, and customer needs.
  • Coordinate closely with internal technical, engineering, operations, and management teams to ensure successful customer implementation and ongoing support.
  • Work collaboratively to maintain consistent national account strategies and customer coverage.
