Job description

Join to apply for the Key Account Manager - Remote (Los Angeles, CA) role at good2grow.

Under the direction of the Sr. National Account Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for managing and growing sales in the assigned region, targeting strategic grocery and c-store retail customers.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain client relationships within the region.
  • Manage strategic relationships with regional retailers, handling up to $15MM annual business.
  • Maintain high-level customer contact and execute through nationwide DSD network.
  • Build business relationships with key decision-makers, focusing on merchant & replenishment levels.
  • Utilize pre-call planning for all customer interactions.
  • Manage brokers and accounts to optimize service and maintain primary customer relationships.
  • Conduct joint business planning reviews to update on progress, KPIs, and scorecards.

Business Planning & Financial Management:

  • Forecast sales accurately and timely to support organizational goals.
  • Implement and maintain annual business plans and budgets.
  • Understand operational strategies of designated accounts.
  • Manage territory P&L to meet volume and market share objectives.
  • Handle chargebacks, deductions, and unsaleables per company standards.

Key Skills:

  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication to influence and align teams.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent time and project management skills.
  • Attention to detail and dedication.

Experience & Education:

  • 5-8 years of sales experience in CPG.
  • Bilingual required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with accounts like Stater Brothers, Albertsons, Food 4 Less, Ralphs is a plus.

Additional Details:

  • Salary Range: ~$124,476 to ~$165,968.
  • Location: Los Angeles, CA; candidates must reside nearby.
