Join to apply for the Key Account Manager - Natural Channel role at Guayakí Yerba Mate

Are you an experienced salesperson with a passion for the beverage industry? Do you have a knack for developing strategic sales plans and fostering strong customer relationships? Guayaki Yerba Mate is seeking a dynamic Key Account Manager to drive sales and expand our market presence within the Natural channel in the Western region.

We are looking for a dedicated, hardworking Key Account Manager (KAM) to oversee and nurture Guayaki's commercial relationships within the natural channel retail customer base. Your role will involve crafting strategic action plans, implementing retailer programs, and aligning with Guayaki's growth strategy to meet annual goals. Your efforts will help harmonize our mission with retailer strategies, creating mutually beneficial partnerships.

Responsibilities
  1. Build an annual business plan for each customer to achieve revenue, volume, profit, and market share goals through joint planning.
  2. Deliver business plan goals across the region and manage adjustments proactively.
  3. Develop and capitalize on opportunities, including execution plans and budgets.
  4. Manage in-store execution and activation in collaboration with distribution partners and marketing teams.
  5. Develop promotional programs aligned with retailer strategies and Guayaki's business plans, utilizing data and customer insights.
  6. Address all store and SKU gaps to meet volume and share objectives.
  7. Create and present fact-based customer presentations for planning and reviews.
  8. Collaborate with internal teams to translate consumer insights into actionable sell stories.
  9. Understand the natural channel route to market and recommend optimizations.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in the CPG industry, preferably in beverages.
  • 3+ years of experience in the natural channel.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record and compliance with DOT standards.
  • Established relationships with decision-makers in the natural channel.
  • Knowledge of DSD distribution, UNFI & Kehe.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
Physical and Travel Requirements
  • Ability to lift 15 lbs.
  • Travel 20-30%.
  • Full-time, remote position available in the US.
  • Willingness to work additional hours as needed.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range is $100,000-$140,000 USD, with potential bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, mental health benefits, paid leave, holidays, and career growth opportunities.
