Job description

Are you an experienced salesperson with a passion for the beverage industry? Do you have a knack for developing strategic sales plans and fostering strong customer relationships? Guayaki Yerba Mate is seeking a dynamic Key Account Manager to drive sales and expand our market presence within the Natural channel in the Western region.

We're looking for a dedicated, hardworking Key Account Manager (KAM) to oversee and nurture Guayaki's commercial relationships within the natural channel retail customer base. Your role will involve crafting strategic action plans, implementing retailer programs, and aligning with Guayaki's growth strategy to meet annual goals. Your efforts will help harmonize our mission with retailer strategies, creating win-win partnerships.

What You'll Do for Guayaki
  1. Build an annual business plan for each customer to achieve revenue, volume, profit, and market share goals through joint planning.
  2. Deliver business plan goals across the region and manage adjustments proactively.
  3. Develop and maximize opportunities, including execution plans, impact assessments, and budgeting.
  4. Manage in-store execution and activation in collaboration with distribution partners, merchandising teams, and marketing.
  5. Implement promotional programs aligned with retailer strategy and Guayaki's business plan, utilizing data and customer insights to maximize ROI.
  6. Identify and close SKU and store gaps to meet volume and market share targets.
  7. Prepare and present fact-based customer presentations, including business reviews and product updates, emphasizing our mission and impact.
  8. Collaborate with teams to translate consumer insights into actionable sell stories for market and store execution.
  9. Understand the natural channel route to market thoroughly and recommend optimized changes.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years in the CPG industry, preferably beverages, in a Key Account role.
  • 3+ years of experience in the natural channel.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record and compliance with DOT standards.
  • Established relationships with natural channel decision makers.
  • Knowledge of DSD distribution, UNFI, KeHE.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
Physical & Travel Requirements
  • Ability to lift 15 lbs.
  • Travel 20-30%.
  • Full-time, remote position available in the US.
  • Willingness to work additional hours as needed.
Compensation & Benefits

The salary range is $100,000-$145,000 USD, with potential bonuses and benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, mental health support, paid leave, holidays, and career growth opportunities. Actual compensation varies based on experience and skills.
