Job summary

Virtuos in Los Angeles, CA seeks a seasoned Key Account Manager to oversee strategic accounts and bridge partners with development teams. You’ll manage project lifecycles, collaborate with internal Virtuos teams to deliver milestones and align with clients’ goals for long-term satisfaction.

The role includes maintaining strong relationships, traveling for partner visits, supporting business development in North America, managing Salesforce accounts, and representing Virtuos at industry events.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3–4 years of business development in a related industry.
  • Ability to work with direct and external partners.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies.
  • Focused and goal-oriented.
  • English proficiency (written and spoken).
  • Fluent in French or additional languages is a plus.
  • Willing to travel for work.
  • Passion for making and playing games.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate calls/meetings between partners and Virtuos teams across regions.
  • Manage partner feedback as part of internal improvement processes.
  • Travel for partner visits and to Virtuos studios; contribute to business development in North America.
  • Salesforce management and account tracking; represent Virtuos at industry events.

ABOUT THE POSITION

The Purpose of theKey Account Managerrole is tooversee strategic accounts, bridging partners and development teams.You’llmanage project lifecycles, collaborate internally to deliver milestones, and align with key clients’ goals to ensure long-term satisfaction and strong relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Account Management:

  • Act as both a partner advocate within Virtuos and a Virtuos advocate within our key partners
  • Maintain industry knowledge on your key partner’s past, current, and future titles and proactively suggest options for expanding efficiency, content, or reach.
  • Facilitate regular,timely, and thorough communication with partners tomaintainstrong business relationships andidentifyprojected production needs. This includes:
  • Engaging with partners and liaising with internal Virtuos teamsin order tofacilitateproduction needs
  • Assisting Virtuos teams in managing project development and planning
  • Collaborating with Producers and Art Directors on a regular basis to meet partner/studio requests
  • Set and manage partner’s expectations
  • Communicating project plans with partners and providing feedback to Virtuos teams
  • Facilitating calls/meetings between partners and Virtuos teams in China / Vietnam / Ireland / France and managing/monitoring progress of contracts, agreements, invoices
  • Manage partner feedback during and post project as a part of the Virtuos internal improvement processes
  • Maintain and grow deep, trusted, and long-standing relationships with key partners in an effort to help them attain their goals while in turn attainingVirtuos'sgoals.
  • Travel for both partner visits and occasional trips toVirtuos'sworld-wide studios
  • Business Development:
  • Assist Key Account Director in Business Development initiatives and strategies in North America; includingidentifyingnew opportunities within your Key Account’s, gathering data, and preparing reports
  • Salesforce management and account tracking
  • Represent Virtuos at key industry events
  • Facilitate onboarding of partner projects and due diligence process
  • The role may expand to include people management, offering the opportunity to coach and develop others
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 - 4 years' similar industry-related business development experience
  • Ability to work with direct and external partners
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
  • Focused and goal-oriented

  • English (both written and spoken) proficiency
  • Fluency bilingual (French and other languages an asset)

This position offers a combination of base salary and performance-based variable compensation, with total on-target earnings expected to range between $170,000 - $220,000.

Virtuos maintains a location-based compensation structure; therefore, the salary range may vary for candidates residing in different geographic markets.

Virtuos takes into consideration candidate's education, experience, training, and seniority levels along with external market condition. The range posted is only one component of Virtuos compensation, we also offer:
