Job summary

Virtuos, Pipeworks Studios, seeks a Guild Manager to drive knowledge sharing and collaboration across a global network of studios. You will foster learning, publish best practices, and support a culture of continuous improvement within our game development ecosystem.

You will work with diverse experts, coordinate learning materials, and help scale processes across departments, studios and partners in a hybrid/remote setup in the United States.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • 6–8 years in training, communication or community roles.
  • Strong interpersonal and facilitation abilities.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with solid organizational skills.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Background in art, engineering or design is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, prioritize, and communicate information on tools, pipelines, processes and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with internal experts and external vendors to create learning materials and case studies.
  • Plan, organize and facilitate internal cross-department meetings.
  • Capture and share knowledge via videos, meeting minutes and materials.
  • Develop innovative communication methods to maximize knowledge usage.
  • Communicate successes and community activities through meetings and intranet.
  • Collect and evaluate feedback to continuously improve activities.

Responsibilities
  • Gather, analyze, prioritize, and communicate information on best tools, pipelines, processes, and methodologies to relevant internal stakeholders;
  • Collaborate with internal experts, CTG Writer Team, and external vendors to create learning materials, best practice articles, case studies, etc., ensuring the efficient dissemination of useful information and knowledge across the organization;
  • Plan, organize, and facilitate internal meetings across departments and studios to encourage mutual sharing and learning;
  • Ensure the capture, sharing, and visibility of existing knowledge and information through video recordings, meeting minutes, and shared materials from community events;
  • Develop efficient and innovative communication methods to maximize the utilization of shared knowledge by target audiences;
  • Communicate success stories and community activities through meetings, newsletters, intranet, etc;
  • Collect and evaluate feedback on knowledge sharing activities to continuously enhance them.
Rôle et responsabilités
  • Collecter, analyser, prioriser et diffuser les informations sur les meilleurs outils, pipelines, processus et méthodologies aux parties prenantes internes concernées ;

  • Développer des méthodes de communication efficaces et innovantes afin de maximiser l'utilisation des connaissances partagées par les publics cibles ;
  • Communiquer les réussites et les activités communautaires à travers des réunions, newsletters, l'intranet, etc. ;
  • Recueillir et évaluer les retours sur les activités de partage des connaissances afin de les améliorer continuellement.
Qualifications
  • Passion for games;
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English;
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in the training/communication/community field;
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellence and a continuous improvement mindset, always seeking to enhance their skills and knowledge in the training/communication/community field;
  • Exceptional interpersonal, facilitation, writing, and communication skills;
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with a focus on timely follow-up and strong organizational skills;
  • Experience in Project Management is a plus;
  • Educational background in art, engineering, or design is nice to have.

This position offers a combination of base salary and performance-based variable compensation, base range would be CAD 90k - 115k per annum.

Ce poste offre une combinaison d’un salaire de base et d’une rémunération variable liée à la performance. La fourchette du salaire de base se situe entre 90 000 $ CA et 115 000 $ CA par année.
