Job summary

About the Role

The Account Lead is responsible for developing and executing strategic account plans for key wholesale partners. This role requires exceptional leadership, analytical capabilities, and cross-functional collaboration to drive sales growth, secure retail opportunities, and achieve business objectives. The Account Lead serves as the primary point of contact for assigned retailers and partners, managing all aspects of the account from strategic planning to execution and reporting.

Primary Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Account Management

• Develop and implement comprehensive account strategy to drive sales growth and achieve sales goals
• Identify and capitalize on risks and opportunities to drive business forward
• Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners and leverage those relationships for mutual interests and growth
• Develop cohesive strategy with BAM, Events, and Education teams to create 360-degree activations within assigned retail environments
• Negotiate and secure high-impact opportunities in retailer environments to maximize visibility and sales

Reporting & Analytics

• Complete and manage revenue books; present findings and insights in revenue calls
• Track and analyze space change impacts to account for proper inventory allocation
• Present Read & React slides to communicate performance and insights to stakeholders
• Respond to Business Analysis & Reporting (BAR) and Board of Directors (BOD) asks with comprehensive analysis and presentations
• Analyze business results and respond to ad-hoc requests from leadership

Forecasting & Demand Planning

• Forecast gross revenue for replenishment to ensure adequate inventory availability
• Forecast retail sales omni-channel and by channel with weekly breakouts
• Forecast innovation forecasts including initial sell-in pipeline and monthly sell-out projections
• Manage contractual deductions including DIFs and COOP agreements
• Forecast promotional activity and secondary/off-shelf placement needs

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Lead calls and establish agendas with merchant partners
• Lead calls and establish agendas with Marketing, Planning & Inventory (MP&I) team
• Serve as main point of contact for Demand/Allocations team to secure inventory for replenishment, launches, secondary placement, and promotional activity
• Coordinate with Customer Operations to ensure timely movement of shipments

Administrative & Operational

• Submit activations and promotional initiatives to retail merchants
• Review and sign monthly payment contracts as authorized
• Manage quarterly field activation planning and reporting

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in wholesale, account management, or related sales role
• Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving business objectives
• Strong analytical and forecasting skills with proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong business relationships
• Experience with retail and CPG or beauty industry preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in beauty/cosmetics or premium personal care industry
• Familiarity with retail reporting systems and demand planning tools

• Experience managing multi-brand or multi-category accounts
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field

Pay Transparency – The following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position.

At Orveon Global, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications.

The pay range for this position is $98,000- $150,000 Supplemented with all the amazing benefits above for full-time employees!
