Evergreen Enterprises, a leading home and garden décor manufacturer, seeks a detail-oriented Key Account Accounting Analyst to join its Accounting team in Richmond, VA. You will manage AR for major retail accounts, investigate deductions, and collaborate across departments to minimize losses.

The ideal candidate combines data-driven problem solving with cross-functional teamwork and a proactive approach to process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting or AR experience, preferably in wholesale/retail.
• 1–3 years supporting large accounts with high-volume deductions and reconciliations.
• Experience with customer vendor portals, deductions, and dispute resolution.
• Working knowledge of EDI processes and electronic invoicing.
• Strong Excel skills (XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, IFERROR).
• Ability to leverage AI tools to improve research and workflow.

Responsabilités

• Manage a portfolio of Key Account customers, including collections and reconciliations.
• Research deductions and chargebacks in vendor portals and submit disputes.
• Obtain proof of shipment and delivery documentation (BOLs, tracking, receipts).
• Maintain organized records of open deductions, disputes, and resolutions; update internal teams.
• Process credits and memos, write-offs, and adjustments per policy in collaboration with Key Account Specialists.
• Support month-end and year-end closings and audits.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and controls.
• Leverage AI and other tools to improve research and workflow efficiency.
