Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a part-time Kettle Program Coordinator to recruit, train, and supervise bell ringers across multiple locations. You will plan schedules, monitor performance, and maintain accurate records of hours and donations.

The role requires strong communication skills, a valid driver's license, and the ability to drive between kettle locations up to 75% of the time. Responsibilities include coordinating volunteers, ensuring site coverage, and reporting on kettle program

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience recruiting and coordinating volunteers preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, recruits, screens and selects bell ringing staff and volunteers to ensure adequate site coverage.
• Plans, schedules, and assigns work of staff and volunteers; trains in procedures and monitors performance for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintains contact with staff and volunteers, addresses questions and problems, and recognizes staff via letters, calls, or in person.
• Maintains records and databases for kettle income and prepares reports on program status.
