• Occasionally drive to kettle locations and distribution centers as needed.

Schedule/Hours: 25-35 Hours per WeekThis position is responsible for:Manages the Angel Tree Program; recruits, trains, coordinates the work of volunteers ensuring sample staff to meet Christmas program needs; prepares records and reports for the Christmas program. Recruits, trains, coordinates, and monitors the work of employee and volunteer bell ringers ensuring ample staff to meet location needs; prepares records and reports regarding the same.Key Responsibilities:Interviews, recruits, screens and selection of volunteers for the Christmas Angel Tree Program.Call and recruits volunteers if each time slot is not filled, reviewing the previous year’s list of names and numbers. Find replacement volunteer if a volunteer calls and is unable to report.Maintain the statistics, placement and follow-up for all Angels at all locations.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:Ability to meet attendance requirements.Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.Ability to sort and file documents alphabetically and numerically.Ability to operate various general office equipment including a telephone, typewriter, and computerAbility to concentrate and pay close attention to detail with constant breaks in concentration associated with answering phones or speaking in person to clients requiring assistance.Duties are usually performed seated as Angel Tree Coordinator; however, work at the Christmas Distribution Center will require walking, standing, lifting and carrying.
