Job Details: Job Location: KT-Lebanon Corps - Lebanon, TN 37087, Position Type: Seasonal Part Time, Job Category: Christmas, Schedule/Hours: 25-35 Hours per Week

This position is responsible for:

Manages the Angel Tree Program; recruits, trains, coordinates the work of volunteers ensuring sample staff to meet Christmas program needs; prepares records and reports for the Christmas program. Recruits, trains, coordinates, and monitors the work of employee and volunteer bell ringers ensuring ample staff to meet location needs; prepares records and reports regarding the same.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interviews, recruits, screens and selection of volunteers for the Christmas Angel Tree Program.
• Call and recruits volunteers if each time slot is not filled, reviewing the previous year’s list of names and numbers. Find replacement volunteer if a volunteer calls and is unable to report.
• Maintain the statistics, placement and follow-up for all Angels at all locations.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Ability to meet attendance requirements.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.
• Ability to sort and file documents alphabetically and numerically.
• Ability to operate various general office equipment including a telephone, typewriter, and computer
• Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail with constant breaks in concentration associated with answering phones or speaking in person to clients requiring assistance.
• Duties are usually performed seated as Angel Tree Coordinator; however, work at the Christmas Distribution Center will require walking, standing, lifting and carrying. As kettle coordinator, duties include extensive driving to and from kettle locations.
• Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying light objects (less than 40 lbs.) 5-10% of work time.
• Work requires driving a vehicle daily with exposure to the outdoors where there are physical discomforts associated with changes in weather such as rain, cold, snow, heat or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
• Work may require driving a vehicle where there may be discomforts associated with heavy traffic or changes in weather.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:

• High School diploma or G.E.D AND
• Two years’ experience working in an office environment OR
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
