Job summary

NVA Pet Resorts is seeking a full‑time Kennel Technician (Pet Pro) to care for dogs and cats in a fast‑paced resort environment in the Atlanta area. You will be hands‑on in daycare and boarding, providing safe, loving care while keeping rooms clean and welcoming.

Responsibilities include walking dogs, feeding, administering medications, and documenting care notes. You will engage pets with enrichment activities and maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

  • Passionate about dogs and cats.
  • Gentle, patient, and safety‑focused.
  • Comfortable supervising multiple dogs at once.
  • Able to recognize and prevent conflicts in playgroups.
  • Detail‑oriented with strong documentation habits.
  • Friendly and comfortable speaking with pet parents.
  • Reliable, punctual, and team‑oriented.

We’re looking for a Full-Time Kennel Technician (internally called a Pet Pro) to join our team and care for our furry guests at their home away from home.

What You’ll Do

As a Pet Pro, you’ll be hands‑on in both daycare and boarding, providing safe, loving care while keeping our resort clean and welcoming.

Your day may include:

  • Walking dogs and supervising playgroups
  • Feeding pets and administering medications
  • Cleaning and sanitizing pet rooms and common areas
  • Monitoring pet health, behavior, and interactions
  • Documenting care notes and communicating with leadership
  • Engaging pets in enrichment activities like fetch, walks, and basic obedience games
  • Comforting shy guests and managing high‑energy groups
  • Laundry and general facility upkeep
  • And yes — you’ll scoop poop, clean messes, o home with fur on your clothes, and probably get plenty of sloppy kisses.
What We’re Looking For

You must be able to:

  • Stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 60 lbs
  • Work indoors and outdoors in various temperatures
  • Handle large and small dogs confidently
  • Work weekends and holidays
  • Be comfortable around pet messes and cleaning products
Work Schedule
  • Full‑Time
  • Weekend availability required
  • Monday–Friday shifts
  • Holiday shifts required
