Job summary

NVA Pet Resorts is seeking a Full‑Time Kennel Technician (Pet Pro) in Thornton, CO. You will care for dogs and cats in daycare and boarding, keep rooms clean, and support daily operations with a positive, pet‑loving team.

Responsibilities include supervising playgroups, feeding and medicating as directed, documenting notes, and engaging pets in enrichment activities. Weekend and holiday shifts apply.

We’re looking for a Full‑Time Kennel Technician (internally called a Pet Pro) to join our team and care for our furry guests at their home away from home.

What You’ll Do

As a Pet Pro, you’ll be hands‑on in both daycare and boarding, providing safe, loving care while keeping our resort clean and welcoming.

Your day may include:

• Walking dogs and supervising playgroups
• Feeding pets and administering medications
• Cleaning and sanitizing pet rooms and common areas
• Monitoring pet health, behavior, and interactions
• Documenting care notes and communicating with leadership
• Engaging pets in enrichment activities like fetch, walks, and basic obedience games
• Comforting shy guests and managing high‑energy groups
• Laundry and general facility upkeep
• And yes — you’ll scoop poop, clean messes, and… get plenty of sloppy kisses.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who is:

• Passionate about dogs and cats

You must be able to:

• Stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 60 lbs
• Work indoors and outdoors in various temperatures
• Handle large and small dogs confidently
• Work weekends and holidays
• Be comfortable around pet messes and cleaning products

Work Schedule

• Full‑Time
• Weekend availability required
• Monday–Friday shifts
• Holiday shifts required
