Indulge Pet Resort has an opportunity for a part-time Kennel Assistant to join our team!
At Indulge Pet Resort, we provide a safe, fun, and loving environment for dogs, offering daycare, boarding, and grooming services. We are open 365 days a year, catering to pet owners who want the best for their furry family members. As a trusted part of our community, we pride ourselves on delivering excellent care and creating a positive experience for both pets and their owners.
Location: 240 Central St, Berlin, MA 01503
Shift Details: Part-time (Under 30 hours a week). We are open Monday - Friday 7am - 6:30pm, and by appointment only on the weekends. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and possibly overnight shifts, as our facility is open 365 days a year.
Compensation: $17.00 - $18.00/hour (based on experience)
What We Are Looking For: We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Kennel Assistant/Daycare Attendant to join our dedicated team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the well-being of the dogs in our care, providing them with a fun and enriching environment while maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the facility.
What We Offer:
Job Summary: The Kennel Assistant provides daily care, feeding, and exercise of boarding and hospitalized animals. The Kennel Assistant also pays close attention to animals’ general health signs such as signs of stress and changes in eating or elimination habits, promptly notifying technicians and veterinarians when a pet needs medical attention. The Kennel Assistant interacts with clients in person and by phone and e-mail. Proper record documentation and accurate completion of boarding forms and cage cards is critical. The Kennel Assistant must pay close attention to details, understand, and follow proper feeding and sanitation procedures and monitor boarding and hospitalized pets.
