Qualifications

• Strong background in maintenance of heavy-duty trucks and emergency service vehicles.
• Hands-on experience with repair of heavy equipment and emergency service fleets.
• Proficient troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools.
• Knowledge of safety standards and DOT regulations for heavy-duty vehicles.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and repair manuals.
• Technical training or certification in diesel mechanics or heavy-duty truck repair; ASE is a plus.
• Previous experience as a heavy-duty truck or fleet mechanic preferred.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy parts and working in a demanding shop.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy-duty trucks and emergency vehicles.
