Job summary

Boeing Aerospace Operations is seeking a KC-46 Lead Repair/Modifications Technician for the KC-46A Pegasus Integrated Sustainment Program at Pease Air National Guard Base Portsmouth, NH. The role leads assembly, modification and troubleshooting of aircraft systems while ensuring compliance with engineering drawings and regulatory requirements.

This position requires 3+ years of hands-on repair/maintenance experience, travel 15–25%, and the ability to work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in repair, maintenance, and retrofit processes and practices.
• Ability to travel 15%-25% of the time domestically and internationally.
• Must be willing and able to work variable shifts (1st and/or 2nd based on business needs) to include nights, weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Lead the assembly, disassembly and modification of systems by overseeing the change, removal, replacement or upgrade of aircraft components to correct failures or implement changes.
• Directs troubleshooting of complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
• Oversee validation/verification testing of systems and components
• Document procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results)
• Inspect, component, and verify repairs for flight worthiness requirements
• Understand and interpret required engineering drawings, instructions and technical specifications to advise technicians
• Provide training and mentors others
• Work with minimal direction
