Boeing Aerospace Operations is seeking a KC-46 Lead Repair/Modifications Technician for the KC-46A Pegasus Integrated Sustainment Program at Pease Air National Guard Base Portsmouth, NH. Qualifications

  • Must be willing and able to work variable shifts (1st and/or 2nd based on business needs) to include nights, weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

  • Directs troubleshooting of complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
  • Oversee validation/verification testing of systems and components
  • Document procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results)
  • Inspect, component, and verify repairs for flight worthiness requirements
  • Understand and interpret required engineering drawings, instructions and technical specifications to advise technicians
  • Provide training and mentors others
  • Work with minimal direction

Job Description Summary:

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a KC-46 Lead Repair/Modifications Technician in direct support of KC-46A Pegasus Integrated Sustainment Program at Pease Air National Guard Base (ANGB) Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Position Responsibilities to include (but are not limited to):

  • Lead the assembly, disassembly and modification of systems by overseeing the change, removal, replacement or upgrade of aircraft components to correct failures or implement changes
  • Knowledge of general aircraft maintenance and environmental processes (FOD control, tool control, health & safety)
  • Directs troubleshooting of complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
  • Oversee validation/verification testing of systems and components
  • Document procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant License preferred
  • KC-46 / 767 experience
