Job summary

Gauss Management Research & Engineering (GMRE Inc.), based at Fleet Readiness Center East (MCAS Cherry Point), seeks a KC-130H/T Flight Engineer to support FCFs, acceptance, and ferry flights during depot maintenance operations. You will be the technical SME for aircraft systems and assist the Aircraft Commander in safe execution and documentation of all flight operations.

Qualifications

• Must be a fully qualified KC-130T-30 Flight Engineer with prescribed instructor training/evaluation.
• Must maintain required flight qualifications and be formally designated as an Instructor Flight Engineer.
• Minimum 100 hours total military flight time preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction across aircraft systems, engines, propellers, fuel, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, environmental, and related subsystems.
• Instruct on performance calculations, takeoff/landing data, fuel planning, weight considerations, and operating limits.
• Conduct preflight, through-flight, post-flight, and applicable aircraft inspections and briefings.
• Develop trainee proficiency in malfunction analysis, checklist execution, and emergency procedures.
• Document training performance and progress, and recommend continuation or advancement.
