Seven Feathers invites you to join the Kbar Steakhouse team as a guest services host. You will greet guests, escort them to tables, and uphold a welcoming dining atmosphere with attention to service quality.

The role requires a year of restaurant or customer service experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to manage reservations and know daily specials and wine lists. OLCC license and food handling certification are needed, with gaming licensing potential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year experience in restaurant or customer service required.
• 18 years or older.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal and customer relations skills.
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office Programs.
• Current Food Handler or ServSafe Certificate required.
• Current OLCC License required.
• Must be able to obtain a Class I Gaming License.

Responsibilities

• Greet Resort guests entering and leaving the dining area and provide courteous guest service.
• Escort guests to their tables and maintain a pleasant atmosphere for dining.
• Maintain the reservation book and be knowledgeable about daily specials and wine list.
• Address guest concerns in the manager’s absence to ensure superior service.
• Provide input to improve department processes.

The Position:

Assists the Manager in directing the flow of activities of the Kbar Steakhouse. In absence of the Manager, greets the guests and escorts them to their tables. Responsible for providing a pleasant atmosphere for the guest entering and leaving the Dining Area. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Greets Resort guests entering and leaving the Camas Room. Provides pleasant, courteous guest service inquiring about the quality of food and the service.
• Responsible for accurately maintaining the reservation book. Knowledgeable on daily specials and wine list.
• Maintains the high standards of housekeeping and sanitation of the Camas Room.
• In the absence of the manager, handles any complaints or concerns from the guest, in a continuous effort to provide superior guest service.
• Provides constructive input to foster process improvement within the department.

Requirements
