Job summary

Seven Feathers is seeking a friendly front-of-house host for the Sports Bar, greeting guests, seating them, and helping maintain smooth service for Resort guests.

We value strong communication, multitasking ability, and a neat, team-oriented approach. Required are a High School Diploma or GED, and applicable Food Handler/OLCC certifications as appropriate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in guest service preferred.
• Current OLCC license required where applicable.
• Food Handler or ServSafe certificate required.
• Able to read instructions; multitask.
• Strong organizational and customer relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and escorts them to tables, rotating seating evenly.
• Replenishes napkins, silverware, glassware, and dishes.
• Provides courteous guest service and maintains a hospitable image.
• Acknowledges all guests at the door, sustaining a friendly atmosphere.
• Carries dishes to the dish area and assists with cleaning tables.

The Position

Greets and seats Sports Bar guests, ensuring their satisfaction and generates repeat business. Directs the flow of activity in the Sports Bar. Assists the servers/bartenders by keeping tables clear of dishes, to ensure timely and quality service for Resort guests.

Essential Functions

• Greets guest and escorts them to their tables, rotating seating evenly between all stations.
• Replenishes supply of napkins, silverware, glassware and dishes inside stations.
• Provides pleasant, courteous guest service and presents a neat and hospitable image.
• Acknowledges all guests at the door. Maintains a friendly warm atmosphere.
• Carries dishes from the Sports Bar to the dish area, wipes table tops and chairs with a damp cloth.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred.
• Experience in guest service industry preferred.
• Able to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks at once.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and customer relations skills.
• Current Food Handler or ServSafe Certificate required.
• Current OLCC license required. (When applicable)
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain a Class I Gaming License.
• Must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance at all times (specific standards available).
