Job summary

Goodfellow Bros. invites a Project Engineer Intern to join the Koloa, HI team on Kauai for summer 2026. Under supervision, you will support with layout, form design, subcontract monitoring, and change order preparations, gaining hands-on construction experience.

The role includes assisting in plan checking, document control, safety monitoring, and cost data preparation for invoices, with 12-week paid internships at $20–$24 per hour and supporting reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related major from an accredited university.
• Must have the legal right to work in the US without employer sponsorship.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager/Project Engineers/Estimators with construction-related duties and documentation.
• Track work hour utilization and productivity under supervision.
• Coordinate material deliveries and subcontract work to align with progress schedules.
• Prepare data for monthly invoices and project cost reports.
• Maintain up-to-date files for suppliers, labor laws, and subcontractors.
