Job summary

Goodfellow Bros., Inc. is seeking an Engineering Intern for the Folsom, CA team for summer 2027.

Under supervision, you will assist with layout, form design, and subcontract monitoring, plus change orders, plan checking, document control, and safety monitoring to learn daily duties of a project engineer. This 12-week paid internship offers exposure to field and office tasks, with compensation of $22–$27 per hour, travel may be required, and driving is often needed for site visits and supplier

Qualifications

• Must have the legal right to work in the US without employer sponsorship.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related major.
• Travel may be required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager/Engineers/Estimators with construction-related duties.
• Track work hour utilization and productivity.
• Maintain up-to-date files of material suppliers, labor laws, and subcontractors by category.
• Coordinate material deliveries and subcontract work per schedule.
• Prepare cost breakdowns and assist in revisions as needed.
• Prepare data for monthly invoices and pay estimates.
