Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Construction Manager focused on subcontractor oversight for federal facility recovery work in Kauai, Hawaii. Following damage assessments, field work may include emergency roof and envelope repairs, interior drying, debris clearance, and restoration of facilities and utilities.

You will coordinate approximately five to ten field personnel and subcontractor resources, confirm work readiness, and resolve day-to-day site constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
• 8+ years of construction management and subcontractor oversight for facility or infrastructure projects.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day to day subcontractor activities for facility, envelope, utility, and related repair scopes.
• Coordinate the work of approximately five to ten field personnel and subcontractor resources.
• Confirm field work aligns with approved plans, specifications, safety requirements, and quality expectations.
• Review daily reports, progress quantities, submittals, RFIs, and potential changes.
• Coordinate site access, material deliveries, inspections, and work sequencing.
• Identify field constraints early and elevate schedule, safety, cost, and quality issues with recommended solutions.
