Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Construction Manager focused on subcontractor oversight for federal facility recovery work in Kauai, Hawaii. You will coordinate five to ten field personnel and subcontractor resources, confirm that work is ready to proceed, and resolve day to day site constraints.

Your leadership will help crews work safely and efficiently across active locations while producing clear records of progress, quality, and changing conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field; 8+ years of construction management and subcontractor oversight.
• Valid driver’s license required; able to pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day to day subcontractor activities for facility, envelope, utility, and related repair scopes.
• Coordinate the work of approximately five to ten field personnel and subcontractor resources, adjusting assignments as project needs change.
• Confirm field work aligns with approved plans, specifications, safety requirements, and quality expectations.
• Review daily reports, progress quantities, submittals, requests for information, and potential changes.
• Coordinate site access, material deliveries, inspections, and work sequencing with project teams.
• Identify field constraints early and elevate schedule, safety, cost, and quality issues with recommended solutions.
