Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Construction Manager focused on subcontractor oversight for federal facility recovery work in Kauai, Hawaii. Following damage assessments, field work may include emergency roof and envelope repairs, interior drying, debris clearance, and restoration of facilities and utilities.

You will coordinate approximately five to ten field personnel and subcontractor resources, confirm that work is ready to proceed, and resolve day to day site constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
• 8+ years of construction management and subcontractor oversight for facilities or infrastructure projects.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day to day subcontractor activities for facility, envelope, utility, and related repair scopes.
• Coordinate the work of approximately five to ten field personnel and subcontractor resources, adjusting assignments as project needs change.
• Confirm field work aligns with approved plans, specifications, safety requirements, and quality expectations.
• Review daily reports, progress quantities, submittals, requests for information, and potential changes.
• Coordinate site access, material deliveries, inspections, and work sequencing with project teams.
• Identify field constraints early and elevate schedule, safety, cost, and quality issues with recommended solutions.
