Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Construction Manager Lead to guide federal facility recovery work in Kauai, Hawaii from early assessment through construction. This onsite role requires turning findings into scopes, leading construction managers and subcontractors, and ensuring safety, quality, schedule and cost alignment.

The position is on-site in Kauai with per diem eligibility, and requires a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in complex facility or infrastructure construction, including leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
• 10+ years of leading complex facility or infrastructure construction and repair programs (2+ years in leadership).
• US citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite construction management across facility repairs, building envelope restoration, utilities, and related infrastructure work.
• Translate assessment findings into executable scopes, sequencing plans, and construction priorities.
• Direct construction managers and coordinate engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams.
• Monitor safety, quality, schedule, budget, and progress and resolve issues that threaten delivery.
• Review construction plans, submittals, requests for information, change proposals, and field documentation.
• Communicate project status, risks, decisions, and recovery actions to internal and federal project stakeholders.
