Job summary

Morgan Advanced Materials is seeking a Kaizen Operator to support safety, quality and efficiency improvements on the production floor. You will collect operator ideas, promote continuous improvement and help implement Kaizen proposals.

The role requires a high school diploma, hands-on tooling skills, and a proactive, self-motivated attitude. On-site manufacturing environment with PPE and teamwork expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Lean, 5S, Kaizen experience preferred
• Ability to read and follow instructions
• Safety-conscious and quality-focused

Responsibilities

• Collects and organizes employee ideas and facilitates effective implementation
• Works independently and coordinates installation of signage, floor tape, etc.
• Facilitates the formulation of ideas and embraces and supports implementation
• Proactively seek solutions to specific errors and deficiencies in production with the involvement of those working in the field
• Ensure the trainings related to the implemented Kaizen developments are coordinated
• The Kaizen Operator’s work catalyzes continuous improvement
