Job summary

Wipro Limited in the United States seeks an experienced SRE/DevOps engineer to strengthen our platform reliability and accelerate automation across complex services. You will apply SRE principles, drive incident prevention, and partner with engineering teams to build scalable tooling.

In this role you will implement automation with Ansible, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting, while leveraging Kafka, Linux, and monitoring tools to ensure high availability.

Qualifications

• Kafka integration experience required.
• 5–8 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Apply SRE principles to improve reliability, availability, and performance.
• Drive DevOps & automation initiatives to reduce toil and manual operations.
• Build and enhance automation using Ansible, scripts, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform incident management, RCA, capacity planning, and operational readiness.
• Collaborate closely with application and platform engineering teams.
• Contribute to Java-based tooling and platform enhancements.
