Job summary

Wipro in the United States is seeking an experienced Java Kafka Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Apache Kafka. The role focuses on building event-driven architectures, RESTful APIs, real-time data processing, and CI/CD integration within Agile teams, mentoring juniors and ensuring security and reliability of systems.

You will work with cross-functional teams, implement production-grade pipelines, and optimize JVM

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot and Microservices.
• Experience with Apache Kafka, Kafka Streams, Kafka Connect and Schema Registry.
• Experience designing RESTful services (JAX-RS) and SQL databases (Oracle/SQL Server/MySQL).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise apps with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Build and support event-driven apps using Apache Kafka.
• Develop Kafka producers, consumers, topics, partitions, and consumer groups.
• Design REST APIs and integrate with internal/external systems.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and participate in Agile processes.
• Ensure security, performance, and reliability.
• Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.
