Job Duties / Responsibilities

• Managesemployeestoensurethatworkmeetsqualitystandardsandadherestospecifications.Providesleadershipininitialplanningstagebycollaboratingwithclients,architects,engineers,orotherinvolvedparties;developsdetaileddescriptionofjobsandmaterialsnecessarytocompleteproject.
• Schedulesandcoordinatesprojectsinlogicalstepsandbudgets,thetimenecessarytomeeteachdeadline.
• Preparesandsubmitsbudgetestimatesandregularlycommunicateswithclientsconcerningbudgetprogressandcosts.
• Ensuresadherencetothebudgetand,whenunexpectedcomplicationsorissuesarise,makesquickandnecessaryadjustments.
• Ensuressafetystandardsandguidelinesarefollowedonthejobsiteandthatallsafetycodesaremetinconstruction.
• Overseescontractnegotiations,revisions,andadditionsandadherencebyallparties.
• Collaborateswithclients,supervisorystaff,contractors,anddesignprofessionalstodiscussandresolveproblems,includingworkprocedures,complaints,andconstructionordesignissues.
• Managesandleadsactionsthatarenecessaryduetodelays,badweather,oremergenciesatconstructionsites.
• Developsandmaintainsgoodworkingrelationshipswithavarietyofpeople,includingowners,managers,designers,supervisors,tradespersons,andcraftworkers.
• Performsotherrelateddutiesasassigned.

Required Skills / Abilities
