Qualifications

• Experience: 2 years prior law enforcement or security experience.
• Education: High School diploma or equivalent and completion of a K9 handler training program.
• Licensure/Certification: Must obtain CHSO certification from IAHSS.

Responsibilities

• Proactively patrols designated areas and maintains life-safety standards.
• Responds to events, investigates hazards and reports to Security dispatch.
• Maintains K9 handler training logs and K9 husbandry duties.
• Intervenes in disputes using de-escalation techniques and escorts individuals when needed.
