Job summary

K9 Resorts Luxury Pet Hotel in Stamford, CT is seeking a Supervisor to help lead our team and daily operations. You’ll support daily operations, develop team members, and ensure a seamless, 5-star experience for every guest.

This role requires supervisory experience and a background in pet care. Strong leadership, communication, and a sales-minded, proactive approach are essential, with weekend/holiday availability expected.

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory or management experience required.
• Background in pet care, daycare, boarding, or similar environment preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
• Sales-oriented mindset with a proactive, “lead from the front” approach.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• High emotional intelligence and professionalism.
• Weekend, holiday, and flexible availability required.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key holder and Manager on Duty (MOD) when needed.
• Lead, coach, and support front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
• Ensure team accountability, performance, and adherence to company standards.
• Assist with scheduling, staffing, and daily operational execution.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility aligned with brand standards.
• Deliver and model 5-Star customer service at every interaction.
• Drive sales by converting inquiries, tours, and walk-ins into enrollments.
• Promote services and packages tailored to each pet parent’s needs.
• Lead by example in communication, hospitality, and professionalism.
• Represent the brand at community and marketing events.
• Oversee feeding, medication, and daycare operations.
• Monitor pet health, safety, and behavior, escalating concerns as needed.
• Support team members in all areas of the resort—jumping in wherever needed.
• Ensure proper execution of daily checklists and operational procedures.

What You’ll Do
