Job summary

K9 Resorts is seeking a dedicated Pet Care Technician to join our luxury canine resort. You will work hands-on with dogs, provide compassionate care, supervise playgroups, and help maintain clean, safe spaces while delivering a five-star guest experience to pet parents.

This part-time, hourly, non-exempt role requires a love for dogs, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Weekend and holiday availability is expected, with training provided to get you up to speed quickly.

Qualifications

• A genuine love for dogs (non-negotiable).
• Comfort with cleaning and pet care tasks.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays; flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Providing compassionate, hands-on care for dogs of all breeds and sizes
• Supervising daycare playgroups and ensuring safe, positive interactions
• Monitoring dog health, behavior, and safety and reporting concerns immediately
• Cleaning and disinfecting suites and common areas to brand standards
• Assisting with feeding, bathing, play sessions, and daily routines
• Delivering a 5-star guest experience to every pet parent
• Supporting team operations and maintaining a strong, positive culture

What You’ll Do

As a Pet Care Technician, you’ll be at the heart of our resort—working hands-on with dogs and ensuring every guest receives exceptional care.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Providing compassionate, hands-on care for dogs of all breeds and sizes


• Supervising daycare playgroups and ensuring safe, positive interactions


• Monitoring dog health, behavior, and safety and reporting concerns immediately


• Cleaning and disinfecting suites and common areas to brand standards


• Assisting with feeding, bathing, play sessions, and daily routines


• Delivering a 5-star guest experience to every pet parent
