Job summary

K9 Resorts in Madison, NJ is seeking a Pet Care Technician to join our luxury dog resort. This part-time, hourly non-exempt role puts you at the heart of hands-on care for dogs of all breeds, delivering a five-star guest experience and supporting a close-knit team.

You’ll supervise daycare activities, monitor health and safety, assist with feeding, bathing, play sessions, and daily routines. Weekend and holiday availability is required, and no experience is welcome—we provide training.

• Strong communication and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Comfortable getting down and dirty with cleaning and pet care tasks
• Dependable, team-oriented, and adaptable
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Weekend and holiday availability required

Responsibilities

• Providing compassionate, hands-on care for dogs of all breeds and sizes

• Monitoring dog health, behavior, and safety and reporting concerns immediately
• Cleaning and disinfecting suites and common areas to brand standards
• Assisting with feeding, bathing, play sessions, and daily routines
• Delivering a 5-star guest experience to every pet parent
• Supporting team operations and maintaining a strong, positive culture
