Job summary

Allied Universal Enhanced Protection Services is hiring an Explosive Detection K9 Handler to partner with a trained K9 for searches at client sites, including corporate buildings, loading docks, and delivery areas.

The role requires at least two years of canine experience; a personal vehicle for transporting the K9; and the ability to house the K9 partner. Paid training is provided, and the hourly pay rate is $30.10 with a canine stipend.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years in military, law enforcement, or corrections.
• Must have reliable transportation for K9 transport.
• Must have personal vehicle and ability to house the K9 partner.

Responsibilities

• Partner with a trained Explosive Detection K9 to conduct searches at client sites.
• Liaise with client security, law enforcement and partners per post orders.
• Train the Explosive Detection K9 daily and ensure safety and welfare.
• Follow all regulatory protocols and use required technology.
