Job summary

Allied Universal Enhanced Protection Services is seeking an Explosive Detection Canine (K9) Handler in the United States. You will partner with a trained K9 to conduct searches at client sites, including corporate buildings and open areas.

A personal vehicle is required to transport the K9, and housing for the K9 partner is provided by you. Hourly pay rate starts at $30.10 with a $4 increase with clearance; a Canine Stipend is provided.

Qualifications

• Two years of service in military, law enforcement, or corrections.
• Must have a personal vehicle to transport the K9 partner.
• Ability to accommodate housing for the K9 partner; partner resides with you.

Responsibilities

• Partner with a trained Explosive Detection K9 to conduct searches at client sites.
• Coordinate with security personnel and law enforcement as per post orders.
• Train the Explosive Detection K9 daily and ensure safety and wellbeing.
• Adhere to all required protocols and use of technology.

Skills

Military or law enforcement experience
